Required Grade Point Average Policy
According to the regulations of the Puerto General council of Education, the ECC will evaluate the academic progress of each student at the end of each evaluating period. By administering short tests and a final exam we determine whether the student completed the course satisfactorily. Each course should be passed with a 70 % minimum average.
Withdrawal Policy
Refund Policy
Every student who has paid the total tuition will have up to 3 days before the first day of class to cancel. He / she will receive a refund of 80% of the total cost.
After the third day of class the student must satisfy a minimum attendance of 50% in a disbursement period to be eligible for the entire loan amount disbursed. Should he / she not satisfy that minimum attendance requirement, he / she will not be allowed to retain all of the funds that were disbursed to the account.
Should the student withdraw prior to attending 50% of the current disbursement period, assuming funds have been certified and of time he/she has completed (Example, if he / she completes 30% of the requirements), he/she will only be eligible for 30% of the loan disbursement.
Any loan amount that the student is no longer eligible for will be returned to the lender. If the tuition and book fees at the time of withdrawing exceed the amount of loan funds he / she is eligible for, the student will be required to pay the difference immediately as an out of pocket expense.
In case of cancellation, every student is required to notify our institution in a formal letter. If he / she is entitled to a refund, he / he will receive it 30 days after the cancellation day.
On-Site Cancellation Policy
Any on-site training cancellation will be advice at least 10 days prior to the date of the training and a 50% will be retained as assessed fee.
Readmission Policy
Any student who has successfully completed his/her course and wants to enroll in another, or any student who withdrew from a course may apply for readmission to the same or different course any time.
