The ECC’s goal is to help students develop the basic skills they need to compete successfully in the labor market.

The ECC does not guarantee its students a job. However, our courses are focused on guiding our students to create their own business (self-employment).

From the start, our institution has maintained excellent relations with the industry, which are exceptional resources we can exploit when referring and promoting jobs for our students after they have completed the course of study.

Once the student has approved the course satisfactorily, the ECC offers them counseling in the strategies necessary to facilitate their entering the job force in the shortest time possible. That is why the orientation and counseling services are offered when the students are close to completing their course of study. Counseling is offered in the following areas:

• Job opportunities
• Resume writing
• Effective interviewing techniques
• Public Relations
• Marketing techniques
• Self-employment techniques (own business)

It is mandatory that every student fill out a follow-up form as well as notify the institution any change in address or phone number in order to maintain communication with him/her.

All information about a student is confidential and is used exclusively for possible job referrals, statistical studies for ECC, or crediting agencies.
